Xbox Live Addicts
Xbox Live Addicts are a Xbox Live fan site and have been in existence for over 3 years. In this time they have grown to become the largest Xbox Live fan site in the UK, with over 12,000 members. They wanted a way to enhance the experience members received at their site and to utilise the data that Microsoft make available to a small select band of developers, Xbox Community Developers Program. This project has two main aspects,
1) Gamercard displayed next to each members posts in the forum.
2) Stats pages showing details of the members Xbox Live History. Also stats pages for each of the Xbox 360 games.
This required an application written in VB.Net that retrieves all of the data from the Microsoft Servers and then stores in a local MS SQL database. Some GDI+ programming to generate the gamercards dynamically and finally some PHP programming for the interface on the XBLA site. Web Services were created so that the PHP based site can call the data and it also enables the service to be offered to other Xbox Sites if they choose to at a later date.

Search For A Menu
This site was developed to enhance on the raft of websites that offer Take Away menus online and online ordering facilities. This was a very big project and continues to be a work in progress.
The front end is written in asp.Net (Mainly VB.Net) and the backend is a MS SQL server running on a Windows 2003 Server installation.
There is also a full content management system for the whole site, meaning that anyone will be able to update the entries on the site, regardless of their technical knowledge.

This site also includes a full Content Management System.  The front end is written in asp.Net (Mainly VB.Net) and the backend is a MS SQL server running on a Windows 2003 Server installation.

Mainline Lifting Equipment
This site was developed for a local Lifting Equipment company to enable them to display their products online. This was also the first site that I developed that contained a full content management system. From adding new products to changing the text on the home page, everything about this site can be changed by the customer.
The front end is written in asp.Net (Mainly VB.Net) and the backend is a MS SQL server running on a Windows 2003 Server installation.

The front end of the site was developed in ASP and had a Microsoft Access database for the backend.
This site is hosted and managed by the client as such the site may have changed since completion.

MVP FAQS
This site is a project that I took over a few years ago and work on very infrequently. It is basically a directory of sites developed by Microsoft MVP's supporting users of Microsoft Products World Wide. I am currently adding a content management facility to make frequent updates easier.
